Where do we go from here
After the morning after

What's the next move to make
The morning after”
~ Deborah Cox – The Morning After
Recent chit chats with the ladies and reading tha divine Ms
Clementine’s recent blog, I have been pondering:
Can we TRULY remain friends with
men we’ve had sex with …or as my cousin would say, “that have seen us naked?”
People always want to go back to the question of can men and
women be platonic friends with no sexual intentions or interactions. Yes, I sincerely
believe that is possible, normal and doable. That’s not what I’m asking. Now I
won’t say there aren’t some situations where one side or the other wants to
cross the line but not all the time. HOWEVER…once you’ve crossed the point of penetration,
is purely platonic possible?
My opinion. No. This is just my opinion. I have not
conducted a scientific study with a random sample to support my hypothesis but
from what I’ve seen w/ the gaggle of gorgeous gals I hang with and experienced
myself… once you’ve seen someone naked, you can’t unsee them naked (that can be
a good or a bad thing lmao!!)
Even if you are not interested in dating that person or
embarking on an official relationship, you can’t go back. You can’t un-ring the
bell; pun intended lol! For you to get to the point of making the decision as
two consenting adults to have sex, there were attractions, magnetism, desires
and all kinds of other hot & botheredisms that pushed you to the point of
someone asking, “Do you have any condoms?” The next day, all of that doesn’t
just magically disappear and you can’t pretend it didn’t happen. From that
point on, when you are around each other, someone (usually both of the
someones) is going to be recalling, reminiscing, repicturing and reenacting
what had happened in their mind. If you have already established a great friendship,
it might continue, but there will come a point when one or both may want to
cross the line or the longing will rise again (hehehe again, pun intended).
Side note: there is the horrible chance that you do your
friend and hate it. Then that messes up the friendship in the aspect that you
start to avoid them, don’t want to hang out in case they liked it and wanna do
it again since you know you have no interest in going there. Just bad all the
way around.
Once upon a time, there was a beautiful brown brunette maiden that met a yummy, chocolate, cupcakelicious prince. The sweet maiden and polite prince began a fabulous friendship filled with long talks, laughter and oodles of fun. They decided they would be the best of friends forever! The maiden never told the prince she secretly thought he was and wanted to give him the business and he never told her he thought she was the hotness. One day, when alone, the prince kissed the maiden. This led to more kissing, touching, fondling, frolicking …and well you get the picture.
The prince went back to their fabulous friendship…but the
maiden began picturing happily ever after. When the highly intelligent and witty
maiden realized the prince didn’t want the same, she tucked away her pretty
pictures of couple-dom and went back to their everyday friendship. However,
from time to time, when the prince and fair maiden were alone, they would do delicious
and unfathomable things to one another. After a while, the magnificent maiden
decided her heart could take no more torture of dangling romantic notions in
front of herself and decided to put an end to all of the romping, cavorting and
caressing. She decided their friendship would be one of the ones she’d heard
about that wore clothes. For a VERY short time, the prince and lovely maiden
hung out and had great times fully clothed at all times. But the mischievous
maiden missed making out and magnificent manual manipulations while the
passionate prince pined to provoke pecking and the pinnacle pursuit.
In order to have the best of both worlds, they came together
and made an agreement for a special kind of friendship that included all of the
wonderful exploration and excitement they’d come to enjoy. The merry maiden
became perplexed at times as she didn’t want to play their naughty games with
anyone else, but yearned for committed companionship as well. The prince simply
enjoyed his cupcake …and ate it too (lmao)!
The moral of this story, children, is that if boys and girls
have sex, they will not be able to have a normal friendship that isn’t haunted
by the physical aspect of their relationship. For me, this usually isn’t a
conundrum because when I revoke someone’s privilege of seeing me naked, I
generally don’t want to be their friend either. Now there are exceptions to
every rule…but that’s not part of today’s lesson. *wink*
